Volunteering
Bringing energy and warmth with practical assistance
to the hospital environment

St. Luke’s has enthusiastically encouraged the participation of volunteers for over 30 years. While most are homemakers, many vacationing students as well as students visiting from abroad also take part. These volunteers contribute far more than practical assistance; they also bring a refreshing energy and comfortable familiarity throughout the hospital, which helps to revitalize patients and improve treatment outcomes. The volunteer program also deepens our relationship with the local community, and strengthens mutual understanding and support.

If you're interested in volunteering, please attend the briefing session held once a month.
We ask you to be well Japanese spoken, and can work more than 3 hours a day at least once a week, over 6 months.

To get information about the session, send us reply-paid postcard in Japanese below.
