Overview

    The Section of Allergy & Rheumatology is dedicated to the diagnosis and management of rheumatic diseases and allergic diseases. Full-time medical staffs are board certified in Rheumatology and Allergy, work closely with physicians from other specialties to ensure comprehensive management of these illnesses. On request, outpatient appointment with American board certified Rheumatologist, and American board certified Allergist can be arranged. One of the fifty Japanese board certified pediatric rheumatologists also provides specialized care in our section.

    Clinical projects focus on issues relevant to rheumatic and allergic diseases, with particular interests in systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), rheumatoid arthritis, dermatomyositis/polymyositis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, Behcet disease, vasculitis, systemic sclerosis (scleroderma) and anaphylaxis.
